ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Alice Hartley’s poetry collection was in the works for over eighty-five years. She lived in Michigan most of her life but traveled extensively while serving in the Navy Reserve. Alice and her husband have seven grown children, fifteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She has since passed, but her daughter hopes she will live on through her beautiful words.
